We are so excited to partner with Prison Fellowship Canada and participate in Angel Tree Christmas this season! The program connects local churches and individuals with the families of prisoners, to deliver Christmas gifts to a child on behalf of an incarcerated parent. When kids receive a gift under the tree from their Mom or Dad who can’t be around at Christmas, it helps maintain the important bond and connection to their parents.
Anchor Point has committed to raising enough money to support 40 kids through Angel Tree this year! With your donated funds, we will purchase gifts (up to $40 per gift) and then personally bring them to each child. We need volunteers who can visit homes in December to drop off these wrapped gifts, which will include a handwritten tag from the incarcerated parent. It’s a truly special surprise!

To contribute financially toward a Christmas gift for a child:
- E-transfer give@youranchorpoint.com and type “Angel Tree” in the memo.
- Make out a cheque to Anchor Point Church; please write “Angel Tree” in the memo so we can properly direct your donation.
- Drop off a cash donation in our offerings box in the sanctuary. Please indicate “Angel Tree” on an envelope.
- Give on our website here; click the first checkbox for a specific fund, and choose Benevolence from the list.
