Apart From Him We Can Do Nothing

As we celebrate the conclusion of our season of prayer and fasting today, we’re going to reflect on the nature of our very existence as human beings, and what it means for us to abide in Christ and be unable to do anything without Him. There is a glorious relationship between the truth of the victory of the Cross and the power of proclaiming the Good News of God’s love for us, made all the more clear to us as we humble ourselves before God in prayer and fasting—not in a spirit of duty or manipulation, but out of humility and anticipation.
