1 Corinthians

The young church in Corinth was trying to find its place in an alien culture. The gifts of the Spirit and prayer were prominent with the saints, but they were bringing in pagan influences from their culture and old ways of doing things. Paul speaks to them as their father in the faith and seeks to get the church back on track. We look at the Corinthian church and find parallels with our current struggles, but we will also look at how our week was. How much time did we spend with God, and what was the quality of that time?
