The Lord’s Prayer has been a staple in western society. In schools; before public meetings; in church services; prior to communion – the Lord’s Prayer was recited. It has slowly been removed from most of society but the words don’t carry any less value. In fact, when we look at what Jesus was saying in light of the context He was in – we find that this was a powerful and disruptive prayer for the people of the Middle East.
