The God Who Alone is Worthy of Praise

This psalm is indirectly related to Asaph’s Psalms.  It is actually written by David – and it is a song that he has written (using three different psalm lyrics) for when he brings the ark of the covenant back to Jerusalem.  Back into the center of Jewish culture.

When Saul was king, the ark was ‘put into storage’ for 20 years.   And David, is bringing it back.  He has built a tent for the ark – and is determined to have the Ark and the presence of God within their midst once again.

1 Chronicles 16:8-36 is the Song that we will go through today.
