Jesus made a lot of outrageous comments throughout his time on the earth. At least that is how those living in that time would have felt. He was flipping a whole culture on his head. Either you searched for truth – and followed him, or you opposed truth and came against him. The question to ask ourselves is – do we believe the truth or tradition?
